GUARANTEE
A final confirmation of the guaranteed number of guests is required by 1:00 p.m., three business days prior to the function. This number will be considered final and charges will be made accordingly. Otherwise the guarantee listed on your contract will be considered the final count.
SERVICE CHARGE
A service charge and applicable state and local taxes will be added to all food and beverage charges.
DEPOSITS
A portion of the function cost is due upon booking. Refer to the catering contract for additional amount due prior to the event date.
CANCELLATION
For parties booked for Sunday through Thursday, deposits are refundable up to 30 days prior to the function. If a cancellation occurs within 30 days of the function, the deposit will be forfeited. For parties booked for Friday and Saturday deposits are refundable up to 60 days prior to the function. If a cancellation occurs within 60 days of the function, the deposit will be forfeited.
MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES
Guests are required to secure management’s approval before bringing in any outside cake. If guests choose to bring their own wine, there will be a $15.00 per bottle (750 ml) corkage fee, where applicable.
ROOM MINIMUMS
Opa does not automatically levy a “room charge”. Instead, we have established, with each function room, a minimum of food and beverage dollars that must be spent. These amounts often differ by day and evening, as well as weekday and weekend. If these minimums are not met, then a room rental charge will be added to the final bill. Taxes and service charges do not count towards the food and beverage minimum calculation.
